Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

As a very heavily documented work, it extends beyond Sweden into Norway. Contrary to continental Protestant closures of monasteries and convents (or Sweden's role in the Thirty Years War), regional religious life tolerated a continued limited presence of Catholic institutions.

Author Response

I'm happy that the text has passed the review and notice that it does not seem to require any thorough revisions.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

Some sentences might be rephrased for better understanding.

Author Response

I notice that the reviewer want some sentences might be rephrased for better understanding, which I find reasonable. I have tried to do this in the document.
