Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This manuscript investigates the debinding step of Ti64 parts fabricated by 3D printing extrusion. In my frank opinion, there are the following issues that need to be addressed before publication in such high-level Journal.

1. It is recommended to use the simple present tense for the grammar of the abstract.

2. The text should be double checked for some typing errors:

(1)Feedstoc(X) form used

(2)each sample that were(X) placed all over the surface

(3ï¼‰Ω·cm2(X)

… …

3. In addition, the temperatures at which binder elimination was activated were 163, 173 and 182°C for samples heated at rates of 2, 5 and 10°C/min, respectively. Why are these 3 rates selected?

4. In Fig. 7, If possible, please provide error bars?

5. In this article, the following reference relating to “In contrast, at a higher heating rate, there was a lower density, which generated a greater quantity of isolated pores that could help the solution to sink, increasing the corrosion rate. A greater porosity increases the electrochemically active area, which increases the charge transfer and favors the anodic reaction.” should be quoted and added in reference for great correlation about “silica The relationship between corrosion rate, porosity, electrochemical active region, and charge transfer”.

The abstract was rewritten

  1. The text should be double checked for some typing errors:

The whole manuscript was revised and the typing mistakes were corrected.

  1. In addition, the temperatures at which binder elimination was activated were 163, 173 and 182°C for samples heated at rates of 2, 5 and 10°C/min, respectively. Why are these 3 rates selected?

The heating rates were selected from the different papers reporting the debinding step for fabrication of either MIM parts or 3D print.

  1. In Fig. 7, If possible, please provide error bars?

The error bars were added in Figure 7.

  1. This research examines how the heating rate employed in the debinding stage affects the consolidation of components made by additive manufacturing, specifically focusing on the extrusion of Ti64 samples using 3D printing. The writers examine corrosion and mechanical characteristics. The paper is interesting and well written. Only few revisions are necessary

-Please add the standard deviation for the mechanical measurements reported in table 1 and figure 7. Without the standard deviation, it is difficult to understand whether there are differences between the samples.

-Which software did you use to do Rietveld analysis? With Rietveld, micro-strain can also be measured. Please add it. Moreover, please add reliability factor (R) and goodness-of-fit (GOF).

The standard deviation was added in Table 1

The MAUD software was used to perform the Rietveld analysis.

With Rietveld, micro-strain can also be measured. Please add it.

Micro strain was not added because we believed that is not necessary for the analysis perfomed in this work.

Moreover, please add reliability factor (R) and goodness-of-fit (GOF).

The reliability factor and GOF are not included because we don’t have enough samples tested to obtain valid values. However, the standard deviation was added in all data.
