This paper proposes a new type of smoothing reactor using different types of reactors with different magnetic flux saturation to construct a DC-DC converter with low current ripple under the light load of the bidirectional DC-DC converter.

 The major problems:

The abstract was not written well and the present description seem to be empty and boring for the readers. Both essential background and the current existing problems should be presented firstly. Then, the solutions of this paper followed that the innovation could be   reflected. Moreover, the authors are suggested to present the research results through the operating performances using key data compared with other methods which will make this paper more convincing.

There lacks introduction about the related works in this research fields. Citation of these references are necessary.

How to definite light load in this paper? I suggest that the order of magnitude of so called light load should be descripted in the context.

 The other problems:

In Line 37, the full name of the abbreviation ”ESS” should be given.

Figure 7 lacks the captions of y axis unit.

Figure 8 is unclear to read and lacks the units of y axis.

Add the latest references and correct equations 8 and 9,

Corrected the inductance units in Figure 7 and clarified the simulation x-axis and y-axis notation in Figure 8.

Corrected the rated capacity of Equation 1 to 25->8kW and proceeded with the kHz unit correction.
