Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article deals about the integrated demand response analysis through time domain port model techniques. The problem statement and chosen solution method are fine. The following key correction has to be consider for further   article reach to the potential readers.

1.   Many typo and grammatical issues has to be resolve.

2.   Formatting issues to be correct

3.   The demand response techniques implementation part not addressed in fine way –related to your selected field of study

4.   The selected demand response techniques implantation  step by stem procedures may be add in process chart or process flow diagram

5.   For demand side management techniques and optimal analysis of loads –suggested to refere more articles.

6.   cut peaks and fill valleys techniques- how suit for this mobile hydrogen energy storage process application? Key novelty has to be address in the manuscript

Author Response

Comment 1:   Many typo and grammatical issues has to be resolve.

We have modified many issues with “Track Changes” function.

Comment 2:   Formatting issues to be correct.

We have modified many issues with “Track Changes” function.

Comment 3:   The demand response techniques implementation part not addressed in fine way –related to your selected field of study.

We have added two paragraphs (“Based on … electricity consumption”) and Equation (39) at the beginning of Section 4.2 and modified Equation (41) to complement the DR techniques implementation part. This modification also takes into account the Comment 5 below.

Comment 4:   The selected demand response techniques implantation  step by stem procedures may be add in process chart or process flow diagram.

The designed process of IDR has been added into Figure.A1 in Appendix A.

Comment 5:   For demand side management techniques and optimal analysis of loads –suggested to refere more articles.

We have added two paragraphs (“Based on … electricity consumption”) and Equation (39) at the beginning of Section 4.2 and then modified Equation (41). And we have added demand response constraint in Section 4.3.4 to refine optimal analysis of loads.

Comment 6:  Cut peaks and fill valleys techniques- how suit for this mobile hydrogen energy storage process application? Key novelty has to be address in the manuscript .

We have added a relevant description in the third paragraph (Since the … in IDR) of Section 4.2 to emphasize the role of MHES in “Cut peaks and fill valleys”.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article investigates the integrated demand response design of integrated energy system with mobile hydrogen energy storage in time-domain two-port model. The authors established a universal IES architecture on the distribution network side and tried to imitate the thermal network model to establish a network model of hydrogen energy storage with mobility characteristics and then add it to a new IES dispatch architecture. The established based on the multiple uncertainty factors of the system and the characteristics of energy users, a time-domain two-port IES unified model. The authors established an IDR model of IES with MHES, which considers the spatiotemporal characteristics of energy flow and aims to optimize the total operating cost.

I have the following comments in connection with the paper:

·        Please check the english of the paper and typos:

o   for example line 581: Figure 9.

·        The detailed description of the forecasting method is missing

·        The description of the Gurobi solver is missing

·        Which Gurobi programming interface was used?

·        The description of the Monte Carlo method is missing.

·        Conclusion section: future work is missing

Author Response

Comment 1: Please check the english of the paper and typo for example line 581: Figure 9.

We have corrected the relevant errors and searched and corrected similar errors throughout the paper.

Comment 2: The detailed description of the forecasting method is missing

The forecast model in this paper comes from Ref. [25], and now it has been supplemented at the beginning of Section 5.3.

Comment 3 and 4: The description of the Gurobi solver is missing. Which Gurobi programming interface was used?

We are using the Matlab gurobi toolbox whose description has been added in (c) at the end of Section 4.4.

Comment 5: The description of the Monte Carlo method is missing.

The focus of this paper is not on the description of the Monte Carlo method. In order to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings, the relevant description has been modified in (e) at the end of Section 4.4.

Comment 6: Conclusion section: future work is missing

Future work has been added in Conclusion section.

Reviewer 3 Report

In the introduction, it is recommended to expand the systematic review with articles related to the topic of energy consumption and its dependence on the rest of the variables that currently exist, which will provide more information on the research topic being developed (Integrated demand response design of integrated energy system with mobile hydrogen energy storage in time-domain two-port model).

It is recommended not to group the references, but to cite each idea with the corresponding reference and not in a grouped way.

In the section on the review carried out, it is requested to add some reference on how the characterization is performed in buildings to estimate electricity consumption, some of the references that could be used are provided:

1- https://doi.org/10.1016/j.egyr.2022.06.117

3- https://doi.org/10.1016/j.enbuild.2015.11.005

In relation to the discussion section, it is requested to clarify in detail the characteristics obtained with a greater description to give more importance to the discussion made.

Regarding the conclusion section, you are asked to elaborate some more clearly distinguishable conclusions and what future work is intended from this line of research.

There are several typographical errors, it is requested that all those errors that currently exist be modified.

A revision of the format is requested, some errors are observed.

This revision adds 6 new references related to electricity consumption management.

Considering DR as an electricity consumption management method, we added Ref [11] to the Introduction and modified some expressions, that is “Demand response (DR) is an electricity consumption management mechanism for customers to respond to time-of-use electricity price signals or real-time scheduling in-structions.

At the beginning of Section 4, we added four references (Ref [26]-[29]) related to electricity consumption management (or demand side management) for load classification.

At the beginning of Section 4.2, we add Ref [30] to emphasize the necessity of PBDR.
