Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Authors have presented a paper on Electronic system for remote monitoring of solar power plant parameters and environmental conditions. The system has two stage process, i.e. data collection, and data analysis and display. A prototype is made to demonstrate the operations and functionalities of the presented system. The work is of practical nature and is interesting. Following comments needs to be addressed.

Improving the presentation of figures / flowcharts could significantly enhance the quality of the manuscript.

It would be great to include comments if there are any environmental consideration or assumptions.

Results are not very clearly presented.

Novelty and research contributions need to be clearly stated.

Check the manuscript for typos and grammatical errors.

Reviewer 2 Report

In this work, a display system is developed for  different parameters related to PV power plants. Therein, weather parameters like temperature, illumination, etc. and module operation parameters like current, voltage, etc. are measured and displayed for a PV power plant. The comments/suggestions related to the manuscript are:

  1. The introduction section should include more studies related to your work.
  2. The experimental setup should be more explained. Pictures can be added too.
  3. Why you used the words like monitoring and analysis? Its just the measurement and display of the parameters.
  4. How the micro-controllers were programmed? Different components were programmed to send the data, to create interface, to display, etc. The explaination about these programs can be added.
