The acronyms LC and AE are used in the introduction before they are defined. "Force-free" is nicely described on lines 257-258. This short description or something even shorter should be mentioned in the introduction.

There are a lot of minor English errors in the use of definite articles and in singular vs. plural items. These do not prevent the article from being understood. The article is clear and comprehensive. Nonetheless, I would fix as many of these as is possible. 

Here are the ones I found:

Line 23: "the" is singular, but "processes" is plural, so "the incoherent processes is inconsistent.

Line 24: "at the gamma-ray band" should be "in the gamma -ray band."

Line 48: "requires us perform" should be "requires us to perform"

Line 238: "a" is singular but "swings" is plural so "a fast swings" is inconsistent

Line 251: "fields" is plural but "is" is singular so "fields is" is inconsistent

Line 271: change "computer power" to "increasing computer power"

Line 203: Duplicated word "current current"

Line 336: "large phase lags than" should be "larger phase lags than" since it is comparative

Line 368: Missing period.

Line 369: "constrain" should be "constraint"

Line 375: "a" is singular but "swings" is plural so "a nearly 180 degree PA swings" is inconsistent

Line 398: "the E and B are parallel" should be "the E and B fields are parallel"

Line 399: "obtain" should be "obtained"

Line 401: "A" is singular but "are" is plural so "A simpler current density also is" is inconsistent

Line 411: "for the low" should be "for low"

Line 415: "also increase with increasing" should be "also increases with increasing"

Line 421: "magnetospheres" is plural but "was" is singular so "magnetospheres was" is inconsistent

Line 424: "are progressively shift" should be "are progressively shifted"

Line 428: "as the sigma increases" should be "as sigma increases"

Line 429: "curves" is plural but "was" is singular so "curves was" should be "curves were"

Line 432: "resistive" is misspelled as "resisitive"

Line 443: "Dissipative" should not be capitalized unless "force" "inside" and "outside are also capitalized

Line 581: "differen" should be "different"

Line 586: "A" is singular but "formulations" is plural so "A formulations" is inconsistent

Line 677: "ligh" should be "light" and "abd" should be "and"

Line 684: "The realistic" could simply be "Realistic" (strike "The"

Line 685: "A" is singular but "ideas" is plural so "A more clever ideas" is inconsistent.
