Quark Stars in Massive Brans–Dicke Gravity with Tolman–Kuchowicz Spacetime
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
In this manuscript, the authors studied an anistropic quark star model in massive Brans-Dicke gravity which belongs to the MIT model, the viability and stability properties of the model has been analyzed.
The methods used are well-known and the calculations are clear and straightforward. However, I have a question on the numerical calculations, although there is a constraint on the mass of the scalar field m_{\psi}, the authors should explain more why they only chose two values m_{\psi}=0.001 and 0.3 in their anaysis, in which one violates the DEC, while another is viable, I think there might be a critical value for m_{\psi}, so I suggest the authors to further analyze it.

The paper is devoted toquark stars in massive Brans-Dicke gravity. Authors construct anisotropic model of stars using MIT bag model as equation of state for quark matter.
I think that paper can be published but after some minor revision.
Firstly one need to specify units of density, pressure on Figs. 2-6.
I think also that one can drop plots for compactness and redshift as function of radial coordinate because these values far from critical values and therefore these plots don't give important information. It is sufficiently only mention in text about values of compactness and redshift on star surface.
Finally in table I it is useful to point masses of corresponding stellar configurations.
