Reviewer 2 Report

The authors have discussed the observables of neutron stars in the framework of the Schwarzschild-Bertotti-Robinson solution. The study is useful as a theoretical paper, yet from the prospect of the experimental physicst, the significance of the results maybe limited.

Theory need to be validated by experiments. For all ten figures in the paper, the reviewer believe it is barely possible to measure any of them and validate the results proposed by the author. It is certainly interesting to see them, but without experimental validation, theory will remain mathematics rather than physics. The reviewer urges the author to add at least one plot about the energy spectrum of neutron star radiation or other direct measureble quantities and compare your results with other work.

Beside this point, the reviewer considers the content and presentation of the paper well done and is of high quality. Line 53 contains a symbol ?? and the authors should correct the latex lable.
