Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The present manuscript has reviewed the current status of cell-based therapies for TM regeneration to treat glaucoma. Now a days, aqueous outflow pathway has gained tremendous importance in glaucoma research and the present manuscript is a very commendable approach by the authors to summarize the major findings in the concerned area that happened in recent past.

If published the manuscript would be a good reference to the ophthalmology community.

Reviewer 2 Report

General comments:

The review is clearly written, reads well, and the area of research has prospects for future treatment of glaucoma. The manuscript comprehensively describes different stem cell approaches for trabecular meshwork regeneration, research done and findings in this field as well as different mechanisms of TM regeneration known up till now.
