Reviewer 2 Report

Dear Authors,

the paper and the course of study deal with an important theme.

Precisely for this reason, if it were possible, report in the manuscript, with respect to the rehabilitation protocol:
- on average the time spent in rehabilitation
- on average, the times in which the patient abandons assisted walking and returns to walking without assistance
- underline, or specify, if these interventions were performed (as I believe) in elective surgery and not post-trauma in urgency (through the ER)

Author Response

Dear Reviewer,
Thank you for your interest in our article and the positive feedback.

The average length of stay in the postoperative rehabilitation program was 23.1 days.

Unfortunately, the duration of use of the walking aids was not recorded in our study.

Yes, the study was conducted with elective patients only. Trauma patients were not included

Yours sincerely
