Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors,

I have great honor and opportunity to review excellent manuscript entitled: “Follow-up of liver stiffness with shear wave elastography in chronic hepatitis C patients in sustained virological response augments clinical risk assessment” which is considered on Processes Journal. I analyzed whole manuscript and it presents new and interesting insights in chronic hepatitis C disorder. Article is generally well written and scientifically interesting but need some improvements which I presents in form list of comments.

Abstract: It should be corrected. Abstract must be written in form of text without declamation of manuscript section like background or methods

Introduction section: I suggest to change term goal for aim

Results section: I suggest to split figure 1 for to two separate figures max two photos on each. It will enable to enlarge photos now is some difficulties to see all specific derails

Figure 2 should be enlarged

Figure 4 I suggest to add statistical significance markings on chart

Reference list. Authors must check all positions may has errors in spelling or lack of capital letters. Moreover all positions in reference list must be corrected according journal publication rules. All Journal abbreviation should be prepared according ISO standard

Sincerely,

Reviewer 2 Report

The article by Folhoffer et al is very well written and scientifically and clinically interesting. The article investigates the effect of importance of the examination of liver stiffness by shear wave elastography.  I have just two minor comments:

  • Could you please specify the inclusion and exclusion criteria of your patient cohort. How were the patients selected?
  • Could you please improve the figure legend for figure 4? It would benefit from more precise explanation.
