Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article can be interesting, however, the authors must improve it a lot first.

In the introduction, the authors must explain, before starting the subject of the article, why this subject is interesting.

It must be included as well the practical application of this.

Discussion is not well defined and conclusions must be improved.

There are many references that could be included to support some statements.

Author Response

The article was revised in general, taking care of the points indicated by this reviewer.

It is now explained, at the end of introduction, why this article is interesting. It is also suggested a method for practical evaluation of the degradation rates and sample quantities involved at the temperatures of interest.

Discussion and Conclusions were improved.

New references were included to support some statements.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper looks like a technical report, the author should pay more effort on address the novelty,  a better way to present their results.

Author Response

The article was revised in order to better address the novelty and to better present the results.

In addition, a general revision was done of all sections, additional references were included, and English corrections were done.

Round 2
