Cover Story: Blockchain technology (BCT) enhances supply chain coordination, offering benefits like tamper-free transactions and cost reductions, particularly in agriculture. It ensures transparency and traceability, improving trust in the food supply chain. While the adoption of BCT in agriculture brings advantages like traceability and efficiency, it faces challenges such as unclear policies and high costs. This study uses theoretical models to understand BCT adoption factors in agriculture. This study aims to identify factors influencing BCT adoption in Australian agriculture, addressing barriers and contributing to theoretical knowledge integration in technology-related models. It holds promise for enhancing supply chain practices and BCT adoption in agriculture, benefiting stakeholders. View this paper
