The idea proposed in this paper is reasonable, and it can have a scientific application: a database containing the data recorded for two months in two rooms, located in Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano, Medellín – Colombia.
I thing the content, in terms of data, can be valid but its presentation in this article has to be improved.

The database provided in Mendeley data is readable, but for its correct usage this paper needs to provide more information.

In addition the structure of the paper is not traditional, and it is therefore difficult to follow. What is more, it looks not very logical for the editor.

I suggest major changes in the structure. 
Please, organize the paper in: introduction, methods (Acquisition devices, Description of the measurement area, description of the dataset organisation), results (or dataset), and conclusions.
In the introduction, I would like to see that you give a view on existing literature: what did previous studies that recorded indoor temperature and relative humidity do? What was the purpose of the monitoring? What sensors were used and what was their accuracy. What was the time step between the measurements? What was the temporal extension of the monitoring.
Based on the results you conclude the introduction saying what do you monitor, where, for how long and with which time step. You also underline the importance/purpose/usability of your data (-> why do we need/could use your data?).

Methods: the following paragraphs can be maintained - Acquisition devices and  Description of the measurement area. Please add a paragraph of description of the dataset organization. In this paragraph, I would like to see: the main information that are currently presented in paragraph 2. Data description, but also specify what do the names of the files on Mendeley indicate (I understand it is "file" in table 1 and 2, but you do not explain it). Please, guide the reader in understanding the dataset you put in Mendeley (each file represents the measurements performed with one sensor, the name of the file is reported in the tables in the column "file", in the same line the ID of the sensor is reported, and it can be used to identify the location of the sensors in Figure 4 and 5), you can help yourself by referring to the information in the tables.

Summary: I never saw a summary in a scientific article, and I do not think it is needed. If you want to give some details, you can include them in the introduction.

Tables:  what do you mean with minimum and maximum and mean sampling period? Usually, the sampling period is 10 minutes. It is fundamental that you specify your time interval for the measurements in the methods. It is not indicated in the file in Mendeley data, am I right? This is a very important lack of information.

Acquisition devices: please put the accuracy, it is important. Please put the sampling interval you used, it is very important. I would like if you also state the measure units used for temperature and relative humidity, even though they are readable in Figure 3.

On Mendeley there are 12 .txt files in each folder, which look like sensors data. Why are they 12 if the sensors are 11? Could you check?

Title: controlled and uncontrolled environments -  it is not clear which spaces are controlled and which not. You may introduce it in the introduction.

What do you mean with air conditioning? Does it include heating? or only cooling, and humidity control?

When you use the word "file" to refer to something in the tables, what do you mean? Maybe you meant row?

"sensors for Xiaomi"- why for? Are they produced by Xiaomi? Then maybe reformulate, I believe Sensors from Xiaomi would be more correct.

Data acquired on October: in October maybe is more correct? (check similar inaccuracies along the paper)

Funding: you do not completed that line, please do. You can also write that there was no funding.

In this work, the authors descript “Indoor temperature and relative humidity dataset of controlled and uncontrolled environments” at the laboratory of control systems and robotics, and the De La Salle Museum of Natural Sciences. The content is consistent with the topic of “Data”. However, the authors need to answer the following questions before this work can be published.

  1. What is the reason that the authors pick the laboratory of control systems and robotics, and the De La Salle Museum of Natural Sciences for this dataset?
  2. What is the potential application of this dataset?
  3. Line 29: What is the reason that you only collect the data from 1 to 31 October, 2019?
  4. Line 35 to line 51: I strongly suggest the authors to rewrite this parts since there are a lot of repeating information here. Also, I double about the claims that “this database can be useful for researchers who want to apply data processing algorithms or artificial intelligence to sensor network applications.”
  5. Line 70-71 and Figure 1 and Figure 2: I suggest the authors describe the plots separately, in a logical way, no rush!
  6. Figure 4. Why there is no sensors at the center area of the lab?
