Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Mention the latitude and longitude of the location where the experiment was conducted.

The aim of the study is not clear in the abstract.

Are 12 animals enough to conduct this study?

I would like to correct some of the tenses used in the manuscript, such as in line 39, it is written “is” instead of “was.”

The aim of the study is not clear in the abstract.

Reply: Thank you for your question. In the abstract part, we have modified and clarified the research goal.

Are 12 animals enough to conduct this study?

Reply: The 12 Tibetan sheep selected in this study were from the same herder's flock, and 12 were randomly selected as research objects, and ear-tagged for tracking and measurement, which can also represent the group in a grazing area. In addition, for the study of the number of groups, the number of this study may be a little small, due to the original design of the experiment, we have a great limit in the number of samples. However, the question raised by the reviewer is of great help to our subsequent research, and more consideration should be given to whether the sample size can represent the population.

I would like to correct some of the tenses used in the manuscript, such as in line 39, it is written “is” instead of “was.”

Reply: Thanks for the questions raised by the reviewers, we have checked the grammar of the whole paper and made modifications. And it was checked by native English-speaking professionals.
