The journal retracts the proceeding paper, “Investigation of Guided Wave Interaction with Discontinuities in the Axisymmetric Damped Waveguide” [1], cited above. Following publication, the author contacted the Editorial Office regarding a significant overlap and misuse of material taken from another scholar’s master thesis [2] without permission. Adhering to the journal’s complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and the Editorial Board. The overlap and the lack of appropriate permission were then confirmed. The article is, therefore, retracted.
This retraction was approved by the Proceedings Advisory Board and Conference Committee.
The authors agreed to this retraction.
