Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors; I found this study an interesting report on affirmation of recovery of deeply embedded autobio-2 graphical memory with background music and identification of 3 an EEG biomarker in combination with EDA signal using 4 wearable sensors. It needs some extra work to improve its presentation and clarity prior to further  processing it. Regards. P.S.

[1] Writing:

[1-1] Format author affiliations, city, state, country, etc.

[1-2] Add list of used abbreviations at the end right before the reference section for reader easy access.

[1-3] Some typographical/grammar errors need to proofread. Check the entire manuscript text.  For example, abstract line 20:   "p = 0288" needs to be "p = 0.0288)". Another example is line 34   "quiet.[1]" should be fixed to "quiet,[1]". Another one in line 805  (0.8<p<0.5) !

[1-4] Figure 7,8,9" All three are small and hard to read. Enlarge their sizes to make sure their axis titles are read easily.

[1-5]  Discussion section:  Sectionize it to make it better read: 4.1. This work, 4.2. Contributions, 4.3. Strengths and Limitations, 4.4. Future work.

[1-6] Add the subsection "4.4 Future work" in line 499 and in a paragraph of 5-6 lines gives some  perspectives and directions to the readers.

[1-7]  Conclusion: It is 13 lines and too long. Compact it to a short 5-6 lines "take home message".

[1-8] References: Make sure to be in MDPI format. For example years for articles are in bold format.

[2] Statistical:

[2-1] In the consort diagram in Figure 1, can you add the sample size number on each arrow ? If not possible explain why and add it to the text.

[2-2] Missing Descriptive Statistics(age, gender, etc.) Table. Add this table pertaining to lines 151-159.

[2-3] Equations (1),(2):   Correct "D" to "D_i" in the first one.  Add 1 to k to sum symbol in the second one.

[2-4] Which statistical software was used to analyze the data? mention it in the section "2.6. Statistical tools" and cite its source in the references.

[1] Writing:

[1-1] Format author affiliations, city, state, country, etc.

Remarks: Formatted

[1-2] Add list of used abbreviations at the end right before the reference section for reader easy access.

Remarks: abbreviations added

[1-3] Some typographical/grammar errors need to proofread. Check the entire manuscript text.  For example, abstract line 20:   "p = 0288" needs to be "p = 0.0288)". Another example is line 34   "quiet.[1]" should be fixed to "quiet,[1]". Another one in line 805  (0.8<p<0.5) !

Remarks: Grammatical errors are corrected.

[1-4] Figure 7,8,9" All three are small and hard to read. Enlarge their sizes to make sure their axis titles are read easily.

Remarks: Figures are enlarged.

[1-5]  Discussion section:  Sectionize it to make it better read: 4.1. This work, 4.2. Contributions, 4.3. Strengths and Limitations, 4.4. Future work.

Remarks: The “discussion” part is sectionized.

[1-6] Add the subsection "4.4 Future work" in line 499 and in a paragraph of 5-6 lines gives some  perspectives and directions to the readers.

Remarks: Future work is added.

[1-7]  Conclusion: It is 13 lines and too long. Compact it to a short 5-6 lines "take home message".

Remarks: shorten it to 8 lines.

[1-8] References: Make sure to be in MDPI format. For example years for articles are in bold format.

Remarks: MLA format is used

[2] Statistical:

[2-1] In the consort diagram in Figure 1, can you add the sample size number on each arrow? If not possible explain why and add it to the text.

Remarks: Figure 1 shows an overview of the process. The sample size is different for EDA and EEG signals. So, the sampling size is mentioned in the individual parts of EEG (2.3 EEG data processing) and EDA (2.4 EDA Data Processing).

[2-2] Missing Descriptive Statistics(age, gender, etc.) Table. Add this table pertaining to lines 151-159.

Remarks: A demographic table is added (table 1)

[2-3] Equations (1),(2):   Correct "D" to "D_i" in the first one.  Add 1 to k to sum symbol in the second one.

Remarks: Equations edited

[2-4] Which statistical software was used to analyze the data? mention it in the section "2.6. Statistical tools" and cite its source in the references.

Remarks: Statistical tool information added and cited.

The authors should correct the reference numbers through the whole text, since after number 11 (line 72) they cite number 28 (line 81), and so on. Accordingly, reference list should be corrected. I would like to recommend for future research to read several articles that will be useful for the authors:
