The International Summit for The Study of Information (ISSI) is a biannual series of international conferences, dedicated to bringing experts worldwide together to exchange ideas, share progress and explore future trends in the information discipline, as well as facilitate collaborations between participants to meet new challenges. Each of the previous Summits attracted a large number of enthusiastic participants and achieved substantial success.
The Summit is sponsored by the International Society for the Study of Information (IS4SI) and assisted by the editorial offices of the MDPI Journals Information, Entropy, Mathematics and Philosophy, and also by the Asia-pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA), which represents scientists, professors, engineers, technologists, managers, experts and students all over the world in the fields related to the study of information.
The 2023 International Summit on the Study of Information (ISSI’2023) is organized by IS4SI’s Chapter in Beijing, China, and will be held on Monday 14 August to Friday 16 August 2023 in Beijing. The Summit will consist of a series of academic fora, technical exhibits, and the organization of cooperative projects online, and/or offline if allowed.
In submitting conference proceedings to the Computer Sciences and Mathematics Forum, the volume editors of the proceedings certify to the publisher that all papers published in this volume have been subjected to peer review administered by the volume editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal.

  • Number of submissions sent for review: 112 submissions in total. The conference consists of five forums and one workshop. There are five interrelated forums: Information Philosophy, Information Science, Information Technology, Information Economy and Information Society. Number of submissions sent for review for each forum: Information Philosophy: 56, Information Science: 18, Information Technology: 26, Information Economy: 2; Information Society: 10.
