Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Dermatological infections are common conditions caused by various pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, leading to symptoms like rashes, blisters, and sores. Antibiotic treatment is often prescribed for bacterial infections to eliminate the causative agents. These medications target bacterial growth and division, reducing inflammation and aiding the skin's recovery process. However, the overuse or misuse of antibiotics can result in resistance, which is a growing public health issue. It is essential to follow a healthcare provider's guidance for proper diagnosis and appropriate antibiotic use to ensure effective treatment and prevent resistance.

This Special Issue aims to explore new antibiotic treatments for dermatological infections. Additionally, we invite contributions in the form of review articles or concise reflections on these critical topics.
