Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
As the Editor-in-Chief of Applied Sciences, I am pleased to announce the winners of the Applied Sciences 2023 Travel Award. This award has been granted to Dr. Agnese Sbrollini, Post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Information Engineering, Università Politecnica delle Marche; Helena Prado Felgueiras, a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Textile Science and Technology, University of Minho; Dr. Thomas Sevrin, a Post-doctoral fellow in System Biology Ireland, UCD; Ph.D. student Daegyun Choi, who studies at the University of Cincinnati; and Yuhan Liu, who is also a Ph.D. student at the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences, the University of Queensland.
They will each receive an honorarium of CHF 600, the option to publish one paper, free of charge, in Applied Sciences before 31 December 2024, following peer review, and an electronic certificate.
With so many high-quality applications, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for their submissions. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winners on their accomplishments.
