The 4th Congress of the International Conference of Fish and Shellfish Immunology (4th ISFSI)
The International Conference of Fish and Shellfish Immunology is a scientific congress held by the International Society of Fish & Shellfish Immunology every three years, where fish immunologists, fish pathologists, and aquaculture associates meet to discuss the recent advances in fish immunology.
The ambitions of these scientists are to understand the basic immune process to reduce disease in aquatic animals, including farmed fish and shellfish, improve animal welfare, reduce the impact of antibiotics on the environment through the use of vaccination, and ultimately to produce a superior market product for the consumer. The main conference will last for 4 days and will consist of plenary lectures, as well as oral and poster presentations covering a wide range of topics, including immunology, molecular biology and microbiology.
