Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Gamma delta (γδ) T cells are the prototype of ‘unconventional’ T cells and represent a relatively small subset of T cells in peripheral blood, with functions not restricted to MHC-mediated antigen presentation. As a bridge between innate and adaptive immune systems, γδ T cells participate in various immune responses. γδ T cells have recently gained considerable attention as an attractive tool for cancer adoptive immunotherapy due to their potent antitumor activity and unique role in immunosurveillance. To date, preclinical and clinical studies using γδ T cells for treating a variety of cancers have shown great promise.

The purpose of this Special Issue is to focus on research progress involved in the progression of γδ T cells. Consequently, we warmly invite the community to submit original articles or reviews covering the above mentioned field.

We look forward to your contributions.
