Coatings Reaches 1,000 Articles Milestone

Coatings (ISSN 2079-6412), MDPI's open-access coatings and surface engineering journal, has published one thousand papers since its inception in 2011. Coatings received its first Impact Factor of 2.175 in 2016, which has increased to 2.350 in 2017. It corresponds to rank 5/19 (Q2) in the JCR category “Materials Science, Coatings and Films”. Additionally, the journal is to be added in Scopus from Vol. 8 (2018).
