Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

As Editor-in-Chief of Epigenomes, I am pleased to announce the winner of the Travel Award in Epigenomes 2020

It has been granted to Dr. Andrea Piunti, a Post-doc Fellow at Northwestern University in Chicago. He plans to attend the Biological Methylation Conference: Fundamental Mechanism in Human Health and Disease (BMCSRC20) in Sicily, Italy, to present his work entitled “CATACOMB: An Inducible Gene That Antagonizes PRC2 Catalytic Activity Via A H3K27M-like Mechanism”.

It was a difficult decision with such high-quality applications for the awards, and we would like to thank all applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winner for his accomplishments. We are proud to support this young scientist and wish him further success in his career. The award will consist of 500 Swiss Francs and a certificate.
