Special Issue Information

Foods are rich in various bioactive substances that play crucial roles in human health. In recent years, the discovery and study of these bioactive compounds have gained significant attention due to their potential health benefits. This Special Issue aims to explore the antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects of these bioactive substances. Understanding these functions can provide new insights for developing functional foods and improving health strategies. We invite researchers to contribute original research articles and reviews that delve into the mechanisms underlying these health-promoting properties. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the isolation and identification of bioactive compounds, their biological activities, and their applications in food science and human health. In order to promote academic exchange and advance the field, we seek high-quality submissions that showcase the latest findings and insights into the multifaceted benefits of food-derived bioactive compounds.
