Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation have evolved significantly due to the advancements in therapeutic approaches, the development of new technologies, and the growing integration of evidence-based strategies. This Healthcare Special Issue aims to gather innovative research, systematic reviews, and clinical reports that enhance our understanding and application of novel rehabilitation strategies for these conditions.

This Issue will cover topics such as movement-based therapies, physiotherapeutic interventions, predictive models for functional recovery, the use of assistive technology and artificial intelligence in rehabilitation, as well as strategies to optimize physical and functional performance across different populations. Studies on biomarkers, neuromuscular fatigue, the impact of chronic conditions, and personalized rehabilitation approaches are also encouraged.

We welcome original submissions of clinical trials, experimental studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, observational studies, and case reports that highlight the groundbreaking developments in this field. We hope this Special Issue will contribute to the expansion of scientific knowledge and the implementation of novel therapeutic strategies in musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Healthcare is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
