Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The global landscape of infectious disease outbreaks continues to evolve, emphasizing the critical need for rapid response strategies, advanced diagnostics, and effective prevention measures. From the resurgence of vaccine-preventable diseases like measles to emerging threats such as zoonotic spillovers and antimicrobial resistance, healthcare systems must adapt to an increasingly interconnected world.
This Special Issue aims to examine the latest advancements in epidemiology, disease surveillance, and mitigation strategies. Topics of interest include the role of public health interventions, innovative treatment approaches, and healthcare policies that enhance epidemic preparedness and response. Emphasis will be placed on lessons learned from recent outbreaks and the significance of international collaboration in epidemic control.
By bringing together expert perspectives and evidence-based research, this Special Issue seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and progress in combating emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and public health outcomes.
