Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the emerging trends in electroconductive materials and their applications in various fields. The rapid advancements in this area have opened up new possibilities for the development of efficient electronic devices, energy storage systems, sensors, and biomedical materials. This Special Issue will bring together cutting-edge research and innovative contributions that explore the latest trends in electroconductive materials.

We invite researchers and scientists to submit original research articles, reviews, and perspective papers covering a broad range of topics related to electroconductive materials. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  1. Carbon-based materials: graphene, carbon nanotubes, and other carbon-based materials with exceptional electrical conductivity and their compositions in microscopic level.
  2. Metal and metal oxides: metal and metal oxides and their diverse electrical conductivities for applications in catalysis and energy storage, as well as the underlying mechanisms for controlling these characteristics.
  3. Hybrid materials: integration of organic and inorganic materials to combine electrical conductivity with improved performance in materials design.
  4. Nanotechnology: utilization of nanoscale materials, such as metal nanoparticles and nanowires, for advanced applications in electronics, energy conversion, and biosensors.
  5. Composite materials: development of electroconductive composites with enhanced properties for specific applications.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
