Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In recent years, progress has been made in our understanding of the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy, but it is still not well defined.

Although an increasing number of clinical trials of therapies for diabetic nephropathy are being published, there is still no available treatment. The development of personalized treatment approaches is therefore important, to offer the most appropriate therapy to each patient.

The aim of this Special Issue is to provide a comprehensive overview of the advances in pathogenesis and novel therapies in diabetic nephropathy. A better understanding of pathogenesis in diabetic nephropathy will lead to earlier diagnoses and better disease-targeted therapy. Therefore, researchers in the field of diabetic kidney disease are encouraged to submit their findings, in original articles or reviews, to this Special Issue.
