Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue is focused specifically on aortic surgery and aims to deliver a comprehensive update on the latest advancements and insights. Aortic surgery has emerged as a specialty with significant health-economic relevance. Improvements in diagnostic techniques, initial management, and increased clinical awareness over the last few decades are expected to increase the number of patients diagnosed with aortic disease and referred to surgery or endovascular treatment. This Special Issue aims to address areas of interest to specialists in aortic diseases and clinicians involved in diagnosis, endovascular, open surgical or hybrid treatment, and surveillance of patients with aortic disease.

We welcome all specialists in treating aortic patients, including aortic and cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, residents and fellows, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, perfusionists, intensivists, physiotherapists, and researchers, to submit their work. We particularly welcome the submission of original research and clinical trials.

We look forward to your contribution.
