The 11th International Conference on Mycorrhiza (ICOM-11)
Dear Respected Academics and Researchers,
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to announce that the 11th International Conference on Mycorrhiza (ICOM-11) will be held in Beijing, China, on 31 July–5 August 2022.
The International Conference on Mycorrhiza (ICOM) is the official conference of International Mycorrhiza Society (IMS). The members of IMS will benefit from an international forum that provides up-to-date distribution of valuable information concerning scientific and industrial developments throughout the world.
At ICOM-11, we will cover a broad range of research topics pertaining to mycorrhizal research, including the following:
- Taxonomy;
- Diversity and ecology;
- Molecular biology;
- Genomics and transcriptomics;
- Restoration;
- Applied technologies for mycorrhizae.
Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China, is the nation’s center for political, cultural, economic and educational activities. Beijing attracts large numbers of tourists from cities all across the world, who seek to explore its rich history, which dates back three millennia. In addition to the historical sightseeing opportunities offered by Beijing, it is a hot spot of diverse cultures. The participants of ICOM-11 will experience exceptional cuisine, and enjoy the wonderful fusion of traditional Chinese and international cultures.
We are pleased to announce the forthcoming publication of a Conference Supplement, which will include papers from the invited speakers and potential contributions from other participants, as the Special Issue "Advances in Mycorrhizal Ecology and Stress Physiology". Two Guest Editors have been selected from the Editorial Board to lead the Supplement, which is expected to be a repository of knowledge about mycorrhizal fungi.
