We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Membranes 2023 Early Career-Women Award is Dr. Yuan Liao.

Dr. Yuan Liao is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Singapore Membrane Technology Center (SMTC), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and an Untenured Associate Professor at the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University. Dr. Yuan Liao’s research centers on novel organic membrane fabrication and evaluation, novel composite membrane fabrication and evaluation, brine water treatment and resource recycle by membrane technologies, membrane distillation, forward osmosis and extractive membrane bioreactors.

This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Yuan Liao for her outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Yuan Liao will receive an honorarium of CHF 1000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before 31 December 2024 in Membranes after peer review, and an electronic certificate.
