Dear Colleagues,
The use of anabolic androgenic steroids and performance-enhancing drugs is an increasingly current and evolving topic. More and more young people are using and accessing these drugs, and sometimes abusing them. There is also an easily accessible and poorly controlled black market. The side effects are multiple and multisystemic, even unknown.
As the Guest Editor, I would like to encourage you to submit research articles or comprehensive reviews or case reports to offer an overview of the use and side effects of anabolic androgenic steroids and performance-enhancing drugs, even in polypharmacy.
