Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly
interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the
most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2018 Sustainability Young Investigator Award is Dr. Riccardo Accorsi.
Dr. Accorsi is a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, Italy. He has an extremely strong track record, and exemplary references and publications. Furthermore, he has carried out ground-breaking research in sustainable food supply chain management and has thereby made a significant contribution to the advancement of an important area in the field of sustainability. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Accorsi on receiving this award, and for his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Dr. Accorsi will receive an honorarium of 2000 CHF and an engraved plaque.
