Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue focuses on the sustainable leadership, corporate organization, and social transformation issues based on environmental innovation driven by sustainable development goals. Topics of interest include dynamic and static corporate governance, strategies, business management, and innovative business models driven by the government’s or related stakeholders’ sustainable development goals to respond to the challenges of this green economic wave. Organizations should implement green energy applications in the production process and in various business and management activities, which can not only effectively shape employees’ green innovation and co-creation value, but also can establish a green business model for the company. In addition, green energy applications can also minimize the impact on the environment, meet the needs of consumers, improve the quality of life, and reduce waste and carbon emissions. Therefore, environmental and energy innovation, social transitions, and innovative business models will effectively assist us in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) and play an important role in our society. Topics and content of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. The green innovation of organizational change and transformation, and the green business model of creativity based on the theme of the sustainable development goal of the enterprise.
  2. The impact of green financial technology on sustainability issues.
  3. How to effectively shape green co-creation value and establish a green business model to win the favor of consumers based on the sustainable development goal of the enterprise.
  4. How to effectively encourage organization members to have a positive attitude and behavior towards the environment.
  5. How an organization can effectively reduce employees’ green confusion and enhance corporate competitiveness based on the promotion of corporate social responsibility.

On behalf of the International Journal of Sustainability, our team organizes this Special Issue, “Sustainable Leadership, Environment Innovation, Societal Transitions and Innovation Business Model”. Sustainability is an international peer-reviewed journal published by MDPI. This Special Issue offers the opportunity to publish high-quality interdisciplinary research that focuses on the green economy, green financial technology, green innovation, green creativity, co-creation, and green business models. We invite colleagues from all disciplines to submit papers discussing the topics related to the above issues through qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches. We look forward to receiving a variety of manuscripts that can contribute to comprehensively improving for the goal of sustainable development.
