Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Dendritic cells (DCs) are truly major players in the immune system, particularly in adaptive immunity. In healthy individuals, DCs are drivers and fine-tuners of T-cell responses directed against invading pathogens or cancer cells. In parallel, DCs control autoreactive T cells, thereby maintaining T-cell tolerance. Under various disease conditions, a disruption of this delicate balance can lead to chronic infections, tumor evasion, or autoimmunity.
This Special Issue focuses on dendritic cells in the regulation of immune-mediated diseases. Submissions of original articles, systematic reviews, short communications, and other types of article on related topics are welcome. Manuscripts will follow standard journal peer-review practices, and those accepted for publication will appear in the Special Issue on Dendritic Cells in the Regulation of Immunity and Inflammation. We look forward to receiving your contributions.
