Noise interference and multipath effects in complex marine environments seriously constrain the performance of hydroacoustic positioning systems. Traditional millisecond-level signal application and processing methods are widely used in existing research; however, it is difficult to meet the requirements of centimeter-level positioning accuracy in marine engineering. To address this problem, this study proposes a hydroacoustic positioning method based on a short baseline system for the cooperative reception of multi-channel signals. The method adopts ultra-short pulse signals with microsecond pulse width, and significantly improves the system signal-to-noise ratio and anti-interference capability through multi-channel signal alignment and coherent superposition techniques; meanwhile, a joint energy gradient-phase detection algorithm is designed, which solves the instability problem of the traditional cross-correlation algorithm in the detection of ultra-short pulse signals through the identification of signal stability intervals and accurate phase estimation. Simulation verification shows that the 8-hydrophone × 4-channel configuration can achieve 36.06% signal-to-noise gain under harsh environmental conditions (−10 dB), and the performance of the joint energy gradient-phase detection algorithm is improved by about 19.1% compared with the traditional method in an integrated manner. Marine tests further validate the engineering practicability of the method, with an average SNR gain of 2.27 dB achieved for multi-channel signal reception, and the TDOA estimation stability of the new algorithm is up to 32.0% higher than that of the conventional method, which highlights the significant advantages of the proposed method in complex marine environments. The results show that the proposed method can effectively mitigate the noise interference and multipath effects in complex marine environments, significantly improve the accuracy and stability of hydroacoustic positioning, and provide reliable technical support for centimeter-level accuracy applications in marine engineering. The livestock sector in Serbia has been experiencing a prolonged period of structural and economic challenges, characterized by decreasing animal numbers, low productivity, and reduced competitiveness in both domestic and EU markets. This study analyses the key structural, technological, economic, and policy factors shaping these trends to provide strategic recommendations for sustainable sector revitalization. The methodology integrates macroeconomic analysis, agricultural economic accounts, and international trade data, applying regression modelling to examine relationships between domestic food prices, exchange rates, and agri-food import volumes. The results indicate that livestock’s share of agricultural gross value added remains below 35%, significantly lower than EU averages, while export quotas remain underutilized and the trade balance for animal products is persistently negative. Contributing factors include fragmented farm structures, outdated production technologies, limited adoption of innovations, demographic decline in rural areas, and insufficient alignment with EU CAP Strategic Plans and Green Deal objectives. Climate change impacts, such as droughts and heat stress, alongside animal disease outbreaks and macroeconomic pressures, further exacerbate these vulnerabilities. The study recommends modernizing production systems through investment in technological upgrades, strengthening farmer organizations and cooperatives, enhancing biosecurity and animal welfare standards, and improving policy frameworks to align with EU sustainability objectives. Emphasis is placed on developing integrated approaches that simultaneously address productivity, economic resilience, and environmental sustainability. Implementing these strategic measures is essential for enhancing food security, supporting rural development, and ensuring Serbia’s successful integration into the EU market as part of a more sustainable and resilient agri-food system. The final phase of the manufacturing process for any artefact involves their surface finishing operations. This phase entails the precise removal of small volumes of material to achieve a specific surface roughness, which is essential for ensuring the artefact’s post-production performance and endurance. For certain tooling, such as molds and dies, the finishing operation can be particularly significant, often equating to fifty percent of the total production time and a fifth of the overall manufacturing cost. In recent years, collaborative robotics has come to the fore. These advanced systems allow manufacturers to harness the positive attributes of robots, such as their repeatability, endurance, and strength, while simultaneously leveraging the unique benefits of human workers, including their process knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability. This co-operation between human and robotic capabilities has opened new avenues for efficiency and precision in the finishing process. This paper investigates the current advancements in collaborative robotic finishing, providing a comprehensive overview of the latest technologies and methodologies. It also highlights existing research gaps that need to be addressed to further enhance the effectiveness of these systems. Additionally, the paper suggests potential areas for future investigation, aiming to drive continued innovation and improvement in the field of collaborative robotic finishing operations. Background: As the social-emotional well-being of children as a whole and specifically during the transition to kindergarten is of paramount importance, it is important to continuously research this topic using a multi-informant approach. Moreover, a further contribution of this study lies in addressing the substantial gap in the existing literature within this important field. Objectives: Starting from the Ecological-Dynamic Transition Model and the Positive Development and Resilience in Kindergarten (PERIK) Model, the main aim of this research was to analyze parents’ and teachers’ perceptions of children’s social-emotional well-being during the transition and adjustment, and the quality of transition and adjustment. Methods: The study was conducted on a sample of parents (N = 154; 147 mothers) and teachers from 4 kindergartens (N = 12, all female) as raters of children’s (N = 202; 82 girls) social-emotional well-being, using PERIK scale and four questions on the quality of transition. Results: All PERIK-dimensions were rated as elevated based on parents’ ratings and moderate based on teachers’ ratings. Ratings of difficulties during transition decreased, and satisfaction with transition and adjustment and cooperation between parents and caregivers during transition increased (teachers’ ratings were lower than parents’ ratings). The average duration of adjustment in kindergarten was three weeks. Correlation analyses showed the expected significant correlations between the PERIK dimensions and the quality of transitions and adjustment of children. Inter-rater agreement analyses showed the effect sizes were predominantly large and poor to medium agreement between parent and teacher ratings was determined. Conclusions: Although the study found that there are significant differences in perceptions of the relationship between PERIK-dimensions and satisfaction with children’s transition between teachers and parents, which was expected due to the assessment of children in different contexts, it is important to consider them both in future research. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the development history, current status, and future trends of civil aviation meteorological services. With the rapid growth of global air traffic and the increasing complexity of operational environments, accurate and timely meteorological information has become indispensable for ensuring the efficiency and safety of civil aviation operations. Extreme weather events, in particular, have repeatedly demonstrated their potential to disrupt flight schedules, compromise passenger safety, and incur substantial economic losses, underscoring the critical need for robust meteorological service systems in the aviation sector. Against this backdrop, this paper first introduces the importance of civil aviation meteorological services in ensuring flight safety, improving flight regularity, and reducing operational costs. The development process is then detailed, from early infrastructure construction to the current modern and intelligent development, covering the evolution of observation equipment, forecasting technologies, and service models. When analyzing the current status, the paper discusses challenges such as the difficulty of accurate forecasting under complex weather conditions and multi-departmental collaboration issues, as well as improvement measures and achievements. Finally, it determines future trends, including the application of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, the expansion of service scope, and the strengthening of international cooperation, aiming to provide references for further improving the level of civil aviation meteorological services. The Drag Effect of Land Resources on New-Type Urbanization: Evidence from China’s Top 10 City Clusters

Land resources are the basis of human production and life, and they face many challenges in the process of urbanization, such as the prominent contradiction between land supply and demand and the inefficient use of land, which in turn restricts the socio-economic development and the promotion of urbanization. This paper takes China’s ten largest urban agglomerations as its research object and constructs a land resource drag effect model based on the C-D production function. The geographical weighted regression method is used to calculate the coefficient of the land drag effect. Combining kernel density analysis and spatial autocorrelation analysis, the paper reveals the temporal and spatial evolution patterns of the drag effect and discusses the impact of land resources on new urbanization and its temporal and spatial differentiation characteristics. The study shows that during the period of 2006–2022, China’s new-type urbanization as a whole rises, but the development of each urban agglomeration has significant differences, showing a spatial pattern of “east high, west low”; the drag effect of land resources shows a decreasing trend, but regional differences are obvious, showing a distribution of “east strong, west weak”; the kernel density curve of drag effect of land shows a “right-skewed-left-skewed” change, with the overall level weakening and the degree of concentration increasing; the drag effect of land resources shows significant positive global autocorrelation, and there are spatial proximity effect and spillover effect in space. The findings provide a theoretical basis for land resource utilization and spatial development in China’s new-type urbanization process. Therefore, it is necessary to implement differentiated land resource allocation and urban planning policies according to different types of urban spatial agglomeration and to give full play to the cooperative linkage effect of urban agglomerations in reducing the drag effect of land resources. With the advancement of oil and gas exploration and development technologies into deeper and ultra-deep reservoirs, complex geological conditions here render them highly susceptible to severe lost circulation. However, conventional bridging plugging methods struggle with large-sized lost circulation channels, while chemical gel plugging faces challenges such as low success rates and insufficient pressure-bearing capacity. To address this, a novel leak plugging method combining bridging and gel plugging is proposed herein. From structural stability and mechanical properties perspectives, the enhancing effect of nanomaterials on the gel system is revealed, and the synergistic mechanism of gel-bridging coupled plugging is elucidated. For the experimental setup, orthogonal experiments determined a base formulation with controllable gelation time: 10 wt% main agent, 2 wt% crosslinking agent, and a 1:3 pH regulator ratio. Introducing 1.0 wt% nanosilica enhanced gel properties, achieving 30 N strength at 120 °C aging. An optimized walnut shell bridging agent constructed the supporting skeleton, yielding a coupled plugging formulation with up to 8 MPa pressure for a 7 mm fracture. Lost circulation volume is controlled at 163 mL, outperforming single plugging methods. Research results demonstrate gel-bridging coupled plugging’s advantages for large fractures, providing new technical insights for severe lost circulation field construction. Full article

Currently, environmental issues negatively affect both firm performance and economic development, prompting society to expect enterprises to address these issues more effectively. In response, organizations, particularly manufacturing enterprises, have begun to adopt green innovation. This study examines how humble leadership in enterprise management affects organizational green innovation performance. Additionally, this study explores the mediating role of the organizational caring ethical climate and the moderating roles of the organizational structure and unabsorbed organizational resource slack. This study involved top managers from 357 manufacturing enterprises in Zhejiang Province, yielding 306 valid questionnaires. The Hierarchical regression technique is used to analyze the survey data. An analysis of the data shows that humble leadership positively affects organizational green innovation performance, with the organizational caring ethical climate serving as a mediator. Furthermore, the organizational structure and organizational resource slack positively moderate the effect of the organizational caring ethical climate on green innovation performance. This study validates and enriches social learning theory; social exchange theory; conservation of resource theory; and ability, motivation, and opportunity theory. It also provides new insights into the relationship between humble leadership and green innovation performance and expands research on the moderators of the relationship between the organizational caring ethical climate and green innovation performance. The findings suggest that managers of manufacturing enterprises should adopt humble leadership, promote a caring ethical climate, and enhance cooperation with stakeholders. Full article

This systematic review synthesizes evidence on economic instruments that mobilize renewable-energy investment in emerging economies, analyzing 50 peer-reviewed studies published between 2015 and 2025 under PRISMA 2020. We advance an Institutional Capacity Integration Framework that ties instrument efficacy to regulatory, market, and coordination capabilities. Green bonds have mobilized roughly USD 500 billion yet work only where robust oversight and liquid markets exist, offering limited gains for decentralized access. Direct subsidies cut renewable electricity costs by 30–50% and connect 45 million people across varied contexts, but pose fiscal–sustainability risks. Carbon pricing schemes remain rare given their administrative complexity, while multilateral climate funds show moderate effectiveness (coefficients 0.3–0.8) dependent on national coordination strength. Bibliometric mapping with Bibliometrix reveals three fragmented paradigms—market efficiency, state intervention, and international cooperation—and highlights geographic gaps: sub-Saharan Africa represents just 16% of studies despite acute financing barriers. Sixty-eight percent of articles employ descriptive designs, constraining causal inference and reflecting tensions between SDG 7 (affordable energy) and SDG 13 (climate action). Our framework rejects one-size-fits-all prescriptions, recommending phased, context-aligned pathways that progressively build capacity. Policymakers should tailor instrument mixes to institutional realities, and researchers must prioritize causal methods and underrepresented regions through focused initiatives for equitable global progress. Largemouth bass (LMB; Micropterus nigricans) are popular both as a sportfish and an aquaculture species. At present, six described viruses are associated with LMB, of which two are typically considered in cases of LMB mortality events. Advances in discovery and diagnostic capabilities using next-generation sequencing have augmented surveillance efforts and subsequently led to the discovery of novel cryptogenic viruses. Here, we present evidence of three novel viruses from a single skin sample collected from a hyperpigmented melanistic lesion of an LMB with blotchy bass syndrome associated with MnA-1 co-infection. These viruses represent recently described groups of viruses (adomaviruses and nackednaviruses) that infect fish. Both are markedly understudied and of unknown significance to fish health. This work highlights the diversity of viruses associated with LMB and further advances our understanding of the LMB virome. Application of de novo sequencing approaches presents an opportunity to explore a new frontier of host–pathogen relationships and microbes associated with changing environments. Full article

Streamflow generated from snowmelt is important, and changing, in snow dominated regions of the world. We used a recently developed technique to estimate the start and end of snowmelt streamflow for 39 gauging stations across Colorado and determined the 40-year trends from 1981 to 2020. Most watersheds showed a trend towards an earlier start (34 watersheds) or end (29 watersheds) of snowmelt streamflow, but the mean of the start and end dates showed mixed trends (earlier in 12 watersheds and later in 20). We determined the correlation between these streamflow snowmelt trends and terrain parameters plus trends in canopy cover, winter precipitation, peak snow water equivalent, and melt-period temperature. There were some significant correlations, primarily for total annual streamflow and the timing and volume of the end of snowmelt streamflow contribution to winter precipitation (decreasing), minimum temperature (warming), and slope (negatively). Higher elevation watersheds tend to be steeper, less snow has been observed at higher elevations, and the snowpack is melting sooner. Snowmelt streamflow trends are partially explained by climate trends and watershed characteristics. Full article

Farm-to-school (F2S) partnerships connect schools with local producers to enhance student access to healthy, local foods and support regional food systems. Despite widespread implementation, few studies have examined the system-level structures that facilitate effective and sustainable F2S efforts across diverse community contexts. This study utilized a mixed-methods system mapping approach to analyze four F2S systems on California’s Central Coast. Data sources included public data sources, in-person site observations, and local expert resources. The researchers hypothesized that successful F2S systems would share core features that support implementation and long-term sustainability, including aligned values among stakeholders, the presence of identified champions, and multi-directional pathways for food procurement and communication. They constructed system maps and compared them in order to identify both common structural features and context-specific adaptations. Findings support the hypothesis and highlight the critical role of community-based organizations and distributors and/or aggregators in brokering relationships, coordinating resources, and reducing administrative burdens. Institutionalization through wellness policy integration and district-level support further distinguished higher-functioning systems. Identified barriers included inequities in procurement infrastructure, limited funder engagement, and uneven access to local food sources. System mapping offers a valuable tool to understand, strengthen, and scale equitable F2S implementation. Full article

Trends in Atmospheric Emissions in Central Asian Countries Since 1990 in the Context of Regional Development

In Central Asian countries (CACs) Yes. we agree to remove Highlights part atmosphere pollution is increasing due to population growth, economic growth, agricultural development, energy consumption and climate change. The countries of the region developed climate change adaptation strategies—Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). At the same time, regional integration, which should be a necessary condition for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the solving of general environmental problems, is not involved. This article shows the importance of a comprehensive analysis of greenhouse gas (GHG) and non-greenhouse emissions into the atmosphere for the entire Central Asian region as a single ecosystem. The energy intensity of national economies structure was chosen as the main factor determining the level of pollution. The analysis shows that over the past 30 years, the main part of the commodity exports (73.6–81.4%) of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan has been fossil natural resources. There is a strong economic dependence on coal and other types of fuel, which leads to atmospheric emissions. The analysis shows that limited financial resources, lack of effective systemic monitoring and control of air quality that meets modern international requirements and standards, leads to absence of tangible changes in practice yet. Over 30 years in CACs, the share of CO2 emissions associated with fuel combustion has not decreased and amounts to 78%. The key mechanisms for reducing atmospheric emissions are significantly increase investments in the transformation of the economies in the context of regional development, interstate cooperation, the introduction of environmental norms, standards harmonized with world ones, green technologies based on alternative energy, sustainable transport and logistics infrastructure. Photovoltaic (PV) energy conversion is expected to contribute to the creation of a clean energy society. For realizing such a vision, various developments such as high-efficiency, low-cost and highly reliable materials, solar cells, modules and systems are necessary. Cooperation with storage batteries is also very important for regulation and self-consumption. The creation of new applications such as building integrated PV, vehicle integrated PV, agriculture PV and floating PV is also very important for further installation of PV and reducing CO2 emission. The sustainability of material consumption, along with reducing, reusing and recycling are also key issues for widespread deployment of PV. This paper provides an overview of the current status of photovoltaics and discusses future directions for photovoltaics from the view-points of high-efficiency, low-cost, reliability, and importance of integrated photovoltaics and sustainability. Problem-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered instruction approach focused on skills development in problem-solving, interaction, autonomy, and critical thinking to learn and act to co-create new knowledge and solutions. Rarely, but authors sometimes identify the benefits of PBL for educators, for example, by allocating instructional time more flexibly for monitoring student performance and discussing issues. However, in the era where collaboration among universities and industries is emphasized, the authors pay little attention to contextualizing PBL in a broader context, such as bringing benefits for relationship management with the industry and alumni, promoting regional development, corporate and social responsibility, marketing of educational organizations, and talent development to create a mutual benefit-based ecosystem. Academic discussions about PBL planning and implementation also neglect the needs and motivation of industry stakeholders to get involved, thus narrowing not only the possibilities for cooperation between both parties but also negatively affecting student learning outcomes, which also directly depend on industry partners.
