I enjoyed working with MDPI. For my original article, the editors found four reviewers in a short time who I think were consistent, strict, and professional. The publication time was record-breakingly short (81 days for the original article and 30 days for the review article). I haven’t come across anything like this before. This is definitely a huge plus. The minus is that I had to work on the corrections (in my case, there were many) quickly. If I didn’t have the necessary oligos on hand to set up additional experiments, fresh RNA, and one open resource center (lockdown!), I wouldn’t have had time. The deadlines are very short. I am grateful to the editors of the Journal of Developmental Biology for their accurate and prompt work. Thank you!

The manuscript processing time from submission to peer review to acceptance is fast. From acceptance to editing/proofreading and publication is superfast.
