Reviewer 2 Report

1. Is the usefulness of model collaboration demonstrated by computing a taxable basis for N? Do you have evidence or references that would suffice to justify the model?

2. What gives you confidence in the results you get from using Farmdyn and DairyWise? The results of using the two programs require evidence or mention that they are reliable. Research related to general simulation starts with providing evidence that the model accurately simulates the actual phenomenon.

3. We need to prove the effect of model collaboration by comparing the model collaboration with and without model collaboration, but there is no such thing.

4. The paper is aimed at farms in a specific country, the Netherlands. In this case, the paper is difficult to see as general. In general, it seems necessary to add comments to expand the text or change the title of the paper.
