Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
While poultry production systems achieved great controlling effects in recent years, there are still many challenges that can negatively influence production efficiency and induce stress for poultry. High stocking density, high or low rearing temperatures, and reused litter can induce diverse issues such as microbial infection, heat or cold stress, foot pad dermatitis, and degraded meat quality in poultry. To cope with these challenges, it is important to understand the effects of these challenging conditions and the effects of appropriate nutritional interventions on the production and health of poultry. Thus, this Special Issue aims to examine challenging conditions in poultry production systems and find appropriate nutritional interventions to improve production efficiency and poultry health. The scope of this Special Issue includes, but is not limited to, parasitic infection, bacterial infection, heat stress, foot pad dermatitis, and nutritional interventions to cope with these issues in poultry production. We welcome research papers, case studies, and literature reviews.
