Applied System Innovation: 5th Anniversary

Dear Colleagues,

Applied System Innovation (ASI, ISSN 2571-5577) was founded in 2017. It is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal devoted to integrated engineering and technology, which is published by MDPI online bimonthly and has been indexed by Scopus with a CiteScore of 3.2 and by the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index.

Now the journal is soon completing its fifth year of existence and it has already placed itself as a primary venue for the publication of high-quality original papers in a wide area of topics with a focus on innovative approaches, methods, and ideas.

To celebrate this anniversary, we plan to publish a special feature issue with quality papers that fall into the journal’s area. We encourage you to look to this website for an overview of the journal: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/asi/about.

We invite the scientific community to submit visionary papers on all areas addressed in ASI. The submitted papers will be evaluated based on their innovative character, the potential for high impact, and their interdisciplinarity.

A generous publication fee waiver is expected to be offered to the authors of accepted papers.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Applied System Innovation is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
