30th European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information

The European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI) is an event organized every year in a different European country under the auspices of the Association of Logic, Language and Information (FoLLI). It brings together logicians, linguists, computer scientists, and philosophers to study logic, language and information and their interconnections. ESSLLI attracts about 400 participants and it is an interdisciplinary forum of students and lecturers from all over the world who share together the usefulness of the knowledge. During the last 5 years the summer school has been held in: Toulouse, France (2017); Bolzano, Italy (2016); Barcelona, Spain (2015); Tübingen, Germany (2014); Düsseldorf, Germany (2013).

The 30th jubilee edition of ESSLLI in 2018 will be organized by Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridski” and the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria. The summer school will be held from 6 August to 17 August 2018 in Sofia. The summer school ESSLLI 2018 features various courses and workshops that cover the following areas: Language and Computation, Language and Logic and Logic and Computation. The courses are of the following levels: foundational, introductory and advanced. The workshops are on specific topics, famous researchers deliver evening lectures on various school related topics and the students present their research at student sessions. More information at:
