Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

As technology advances have impacted all aspects of human life, the innovative methods in education and learning science has also emerged, targeting learners directly or indirectly. This Special Issue introduces such advances in depth from a perspective of impact and education research.

The aims of this Special Issue were to cover a broad spectrum of cutting-edge technologies in education, including (but not limited to) generative AI, predictive and learning analytics, large language models, degree analytics, network analysis, etc. Their stories, as well as their impacts, have been presented by researchers from all over the world. The scope of this Special Issue was mainly determined by how innovative technologies help with the process of teaching and learning directly in the classroom or indirectly in the educational setting.

Successful analysis in the classroom as well as degree-level, behavioral analysis of students in LMS from a successful standpoint, teacher-aid tools, student-aid tools, education administrator tools, broadening participation in STEM, and all areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence are all particularly of major interest, such as applications of large language models and the perspectives towards them and predictive and learning analytics for everyone.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. Education Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
