Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue on “Biodegradable Polymers in Textile Industry” is dedicated to recent advances in research and development of biodegradable polymers in the textile industry, including, but not limited to, biodegradable and sustainable fibers, yarns and fabrics, functional textile products modified with biodegradable polymers, green textile dyeing and finishing, textile composites fabricated with biodegradable polymers, green textiles, bio-textiles for medical healthcare application, and other new textile technologies and processes based on biodegradable polymers. We invite you to submit research articles or reviews on the latest research work in these areas, with an emphasis on applications in all areas of science and engineering.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Polymers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
