We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Processes 2023 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Kit Wayne Chew.
Dr. Kit Wayne Chew is an Assistant Professor at the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Dr. Kit Wayne Chew’s research interests are in sustainable bioprocess engineering and design, including the development of cost-effective and environmentally friendly processes to produce valuable biomolecules. Dr. Kit Wayne Chew received his PhD in 2019 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 157 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Up to now, he has published more than 160 journal articles and 15 book chapters in just 6 years of his career. His publications have been cited over 4800 times in the past 6 years, and he has a h-index of 48. He is clearly a rising star in the field of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Kit Wayne Chew on his/her outstanding achievements.
