Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The globe is currently experiencing phenomenal and drastic changes in all aspects of human lives, particularly in industrial and civil sectors. These progresses and changes have led to the initiation and implementation of a number of projects in various fields, making the role of project management more prominent and important in increasing the success of these projects. Moreover, designing an effective and efficient supply chain is becoming more important to smoothly deliver goods and services to end users. On the other hand, governments and organizations pay more attention to the environment and global warming. However, the industry and construction sectors play the most important role in environmental pollution, which has caused more attention in reducing pollution caused by industrial operations and construction activities. These pillars of sustainability, which include environmental, social and economic aspects of civil and industrial engineering projects in vague or uncertain environments can be effectively managed through multi-criteria modeling and optimization.
This Special Issue of Sustainability seeks to collect state-of-the-art research works and studies in the fields of project management and green and sustainable supply chain management, as well as novel multi-attribute or multi-objective optimization methods applied in industrial and civil engineering.
This Special Issue is designed to motivate and encourage scholars and researchers around the world to share their findings by submitting original research works, reviews, case studies, critical viewpoints, and perspectives papers. The results of this Special Issue will supply the recent ideas, novelties, and innovations in the aforementioned fields.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Sustainability is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2400 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
