The authors well summarized the development of boron chemicals in this manuscript. I only have a suggestion that the authors should consider revising the abstract because most of the keywords do not appear in the abstract. In addition, the authors mentioned the application of boron atoms as “trackable” signals for molecular imaging; however, the description in the current form is limited.

In this manuscript, Bhaskar C. Das and coworkers covered the recent drug discovery on boron scaffolds. It is well written document and it is very useful for the medicinal chemistry prospective to design the new boron drugs for various diseases.
