Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper deals with the practical consideration of "Biological imaging", which is an essential tool to visualize and obtain reference data. The study is well done and clearly described.

The paper is well written, to the point and makes a clear case on the practicality of the software. It is sound and can be of interest for the research community working with these analyses. In overall, this paper is sound and therefore I recommend it for publication.

Author Response

We thank the reviewer for the positive feedback.

Reviewer 2 Report

As a minimal suggestion, I would have liked to read in Table S 1 (Supplementary Material 2) the competency levels (beginner to advanced) of Person A, B, and C. Maybe you could detail them in brackets x ej. Person A (beginner). In addition, it might is not necessary to use more than 3 numbers after the point in the values in Table S1 (eg.: Surface Area Photopea and  Time saved - relative).

Author Response

We thank the reviewer for the feedback. Both suggestions have been addressed. Information about the competency level of Person A, B and C has been added to the caption of Table S1, decimals presented in Table S1 are now reduced to three.
