The article is well-written, in understandable language, the results are clear and followable. However, I suggest a few improvements on the figures. On the maps the geographic names are a bit hardly readable, and on Figure 3 the texts are very small, almost invisible. Furthermore, I suggest to consider showing the data in Table 1 as figures, maybe it would be more comprehensible. Otherwise, the article is a complex, cohesive one, with important results.
