Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
This article is a valuable guide to dietary guidelines that assist health professionals in Brazil in the implementation of persons with diabetes mellitus. The materials are entirely at the service of health professionals who are not dietitians, in the consequence of adult cause first health care, and are tailored to the dietary guidelines for the Brazilian population.
The systematic recommendations are in accordance with the directives of the Brazilian Ministry of Health.
The work is extremely valuable for both physicians and individuals suffering from Diabetes Mellitus. A protocol for dietary recommendations for a healthy diet and establishing eating habits in diabetics has been validated.
The overall study design is well-structured and precise.
I have a question about whether in selecting Guidelines for the development of protocols for clinical practice they are in line with the Good Clinical Practice - (GCP) norms.
Recommendation: for ease of reading and use of the material in this work, it is a good idea to have a list of abbreviations and acronyms used at the end of the paper.
